PayIt2, LLC ("PayIt2," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses our platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use payit2.com and any related services (the "Platform").

PayIt2 provides online fundraising, event ticketing, and payment collection services. In order to deliver these services, we need to collect and process certain personal information. We are committed to being transparent about what we collect and how we use it, and to giving you control over your personal data whenever possible.

Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from Stripe (transaction status, fraud screening results) and from analytics providers that help us understand Platform usage. We do not purchase personal data from data brokers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Providing our services: processing payments, managing campaigns, delivering tickets, and facilitating communication between organizers and donors
  • Account management: creating and maintaining your account, authenticating your identity, and processing your requests
  • Platform improvement: analyzing usage patterns to improve features, performance, and user experience
  • Communication: sending transaction confirmations, campaign updates, and service-related notices. We will also send promotional communications if you have opted in, and you may opt out at any time.
  • Security and fraud prevention: detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent transactions, unauthorized access, and other illegal activities
  • Legal compliance: meeting our legal obligations, including tax reporting and responding to lawful requests from government authorities

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • With Stripe: to process payments, manage payouts, and perform fraud screening. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Between Organizers and Donors: when you donate or purchase a ticket, we share your name and email address with the Organizer so they can fulfill their obligations to you. Organizers may not use this information for unrelated purposes.
  • Service providers: we use trusted service providers for hosting, email delivery, analytics, and customer support. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the services they perform on our behalf.
  • Advertising and analytics partners: We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the Platform, but only after you consent to analytics tracking. By default, analytics is disabled until you make a choice through our cookie consent banner. GA4 may create aggregated, non-personally identifiable audience segments that can be used by advertising platforms. This data does not identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics data collection by visiting Google's opt-out page. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.
  • Legal requirements: we may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
  • Business transfers: if PayIt2, LLC is acquired, merged, or sells substantially all of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Platform, remember your preferences, and understand how you use our services. The types of cookies we use include:

  • Essential cookies: required for basic Platform functionality such as logging in, processing payments, and maintaining your session
  • Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors interact with the Platform so we can improve the experience
  • Preference cookies: remember your settings and choices across visits

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to use certain features of the Platform.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. After account closure, we retain certain information as required by law (for example, transaction records for tax purposes) or as necessary to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements. When retention is no longer necessary, we securely delete or anonymize your data.

  • All data transmitted to and from the Platform is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security)
  • Payment information is processed by Stripe and is never stored on PayIt2 servers
  • We implement access controls, monitoring, and regular security reviews

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to keep your account credentials confidential.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction: request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Deletion: request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements
  • Portability: request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Opt out of marketing: unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us

9. Children's Privacy

PayIt2 is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will promptly delete that information. 10. International Users

PayIt2 is operated from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer. We take steps to ensure that your data receives an adequate level of protection regardless of where it is processed.

11. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • Right to know: you can request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, as well as the purposes for collection and the categories of third parties with whom we share it
  • Right to delete: you can request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions
  • Right to non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights
  • No sale of personal information: we do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA
