You've been saddled with the job of treasurer for the annual ski trip. With this responsibility comes the perk of getting to pick the ski resort, but it also carries with it the hassle of collecting money from everyone to pay for everything. Every year it's the same: the treasurer ends up having to front a sizable chunk of the cost because the people in your high-powered group of friends can't be bothered to remember to pay.
