Registration: 7:45 am
Class 8:00 am-4:30 pm
This program is an introduction into the ICD-10-CM code set and begins with ICD-10 conventions and sequencing guidelines. We'll then have plenty of practice accessing the index in finding the codes, noting tabular list instructions, and then on to coding home health scenarios.
Attendees will leave with the ability to improve plan of care documentation and query physicians for more descriptive information. This program will provide in-class coding of cases in each chapter of ICD-10-CM, with the presenter going over the answers in class. Attendees must have an ICD-10 coding manual to fully participate in practice scenario activities.
You’ll get a great foundation in ICD-10-CM coding and its implications in home health practice.
