Spring is here and it is time again for my annual FOREST-to-PLATE event. This event is two-fold. First, you have the opportunity to learn how to find and identify wild mushrooms and edibles in their native setting. This year we will be travelling to a local burn site in search of morel mushrooms. The foray will be held on Sunday, May 15th at a location to be determined. The foray will be held rain or shine, sorry no refunds. Tickets to both the dinner and foray are transferable. Please be aware that travel to the foray site may be 50 miles or more from the Spokane/CDA area. Second, enjoy an extravagant dinner at the Cellar 317 in CDA featuring an incredible range of wild harvested greens, mushrooms, truffles, edible flowers, and regional wild game prepared by amazing executive chefs with local wine pairings. The dinner will be held Tuesday, May 31st.
