2026 Theta Nu Alumni - Carolina Homecoming Tailgate

Once again, it's ΘN!! Brothers it's time to support our Chapter while supporting our Gamecocks! This will be the 19th year of the Theta Nu Alumni Tailgate, which dates back to our humble beginnings under a 10x10 tent on Rosewood Drive! Carolina's 2026 Homecoming game is November 7th vs. the Texas A and M Aggies @TBD. 

New Location: Representatives of the D9 are finalizing a contract to take us to Olympia Learning Center on Bluff Road. The Learning Center is a mere 0.5 miles or 10-minute walk to Willy B!! As in years past, community costs, such as event management and security are shared by all D9 organizations. There is more parking available at this location, and the goal is to pre-sell spots. More details will be shared as we get closer to Homecoming. Early arrival is strongly encouraged and rideshare remains an option.  

Homecoming T-shirts are back this year!! With a November game, we are offering hoodies, short & long sleeve tees. Orders will be shipped by October 1st, with a September 20th order deadline.

In 2025, we collected over $14,000 for food and beverages, which made for an awesome event! The budget will increase this year to purchase more space at the new location. New fundraising options will also be shared in a future update. Tiered offerings for VIP & GA+ experiences will continue with early bird pricing and select amenities, to include:

• VIP Tent: seating, game broadcast & elevated menu
• GA+ Tent: standing room, game broadcast & tailgate menu
• Three Bartenders courtesy of PharmD Drink Doctor
• 4 Hookah Tables w/ dedicated service courtesy of Blo Crypto 
• Hand rolled cigars courtesy of Stick Vibez
• 360* Photo Booth

The budget has been reset at $16,000 for 2026...for food, alcohol and D9 tailgate assessments and fees. We are seeking to expand our footprint to mirror our elevated vision. With the new location, we are adding a third tent, and dedicated event help. Initial contributions will be tiered with early bird and standard registration: 

• Early Bird VIP: $60 PP; rising to $75 PP on September 15th
• Early Bird GA+: $25 PP; rising to $35 PP on September 15th

The Theta Nu Alumni Invitational Golf Tournament is also being planned, and further details are TBA for this year. Brothers are encouraged to wear letters to Homecoming.
