Participation Agreement

For this Fast CAT Fun Run event, a release of liability is an essential part of the participation agreement. By participating, you agree to the conditions, assume all risks, and waive legal claims against the event organizers: Hawaii Cane Corso Association and Terriers in Paradise.

Key provisions of the liability release:

The release protects all parties involved in the event and covers various types of harm or loss that may occur. By signing up for this event, you agree to the following:
  • Waiver of claims: You release the hosting club: Hawaii Cane Corso Association and Terriers in Paradise, property owners, and event volunteers from any liability for loss, damage, or injury.
  • Assumption of risk: You acknowledge that participation in the event is at your own risk and accept full responsibility for any harm your dog may cause to people, other animals, or property.
  • Indemnification: You agree to pay for any and all costs and expenses, including legal fees, that the event organizers might incur as a result of a claim arising from your or your dog's participation.
  • Control of the dog: You confirm that your dog remains under your care, custody, and control at all times while on the event premises.

    You may pre-purchase your fun run for a dedicated or undeclared time slot. Patrons may also purchase runs the day of the event.  We will do our best to accommodate everyone.  

    Volunteers, donations, Lunch Sponsors, and equipment lending are much appreciated.
