Hi and Welcome,

Now more than ever, we see the benefit of coming together in unity and feeling the strength of community. Join other Jewish Women who want to experience a traditional meaningful Shabbos together with the added benefits of meditation, in depth Torah learning circles as well as some Jewish themed Yoga!  

The Tiferet Movement Shabassanah Retreat partners with the International Shabbos Project to offer the beauty of "Shabbos"  together with the benefits of Yoga, taking its name from combining Shabbos with  "Shavassanah", the final resting pose that follows an active yoga class.


Retreat Schedule

​Friday afternoon Nov 3rd

Arrivals and light refreshment from 4:30pm

​5:30pm Candle lighting followed by  

Candle-Light Meditation/Possible Kaballas Shabbos at Kehillat New Hempstead

​Evening Meal  approx 7:00pm

 Shabbat Day Nov 4th

 8:30 -9:30am Rise and Shine Yoga

 8:00 am -10:00am Breakfast

10:30am Prayer and Learning Circle  

or Doverning in local Shul

​12:30-2:00pm Shabbos Meal

​2:00-4:00pm Free time  

4:00-5:00pm Interactive Learning Circle  

​5:15pm "the Third Meal" followed

by Havdalah @ 6:  40pm  

​8:00pm -9:30pm ..Special Evening Program

 Breakfast 7:30-9:15am

Meditation and Prayer circle:

9:00-10:00am

 10:30am-12:30pm Special Yoga Workshop with Yael Sunshine!

​1:00 noon Lunch and Final Closing Session.
