Once again it's ON!! Brothers it's time to support our Chapter while supporting our Gamecocks! This will be the 14th year of the Theta Nu Alumni Tailgate, which dates back to our humble beginnings under a 10x10 tent on Rosewood Drive! Carolina's 2021 Homecoming game is October 16th vs. the Vanderbilt Commodores @4PM. New Location: East Coast Metal Distributors - 950 Rosewood Drive.
In 2019, we collected over $3800 for food and beverages. We are adjusting the budget due to timing and limited promotions to create for a more exclusive event. Black Alumni Reunion has cancelled an official tailgate, but a few individual orgs are moving forward. Tailgates will not take place in the same lot, but will be adjacent or in the same vicinity. That said, the budget has been set at $1600...for food, alcohol and tailgate space.
With the refined budget, initial contributions will be set at $40 PP, based on 40 Brothers contributing. In previous years, we have had over 70 Brothers contribute in some way (including Plant a Seed), even if they couldn't attend!
The Theta Nu Alumni Invitational Golf Tournament will not be offered in an official capacity this year. We encourage Brothers to plan and participate in any informal mixers or tee times.
Brothers are encouraged to wear letters, t-shirts will not be sold.
2021 Tailgate Budget
$600 - 15 tailgate parking spots
$800 - Food, cook, sundries, etc.
$400 - Alcohol/beer
$250 - Bartending Service
