Help Aaron Get Legal Representation — Warren & Forest County, PA
Aaron Olson is a beloved brother who attends Rainbow Gatherings and believes deeply in our right to peaceably assemble. He was recently at the Rainbow Gathering in Pennsylvania, an annual, leaderless gathering that draws people from all over the country to camp, share skills, and build community together.
Large gatherings like this are routinely met with a significant law enforcement presence. Task forces with budgets reported around $500,000 are typically assigned to monitor the area, and vehicle checkpoints are common along the roads leading in and out. During one such stop, Aaron was cited with a lengthy series of charges, ultimately arrested, and had his vehicle impounded. He is currently being held at Warren County Prison, facing charges split between Warren County and Forest County.
We are raising money to ensure Aaron has the dedicated private legal representation he desperately needs across both counties. We are seeking $10,000 for the Warren County charges and $5,000 for the Forest County charges, for a total goal of $15,000. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly toward his legal defense AND/OR bail money to free him from jail.
In the event that the funds raised exceed the total cost of his legal defense AND/OR bail, or if there is money remaining after the conclusion of his cases, 100% of the excess funds will be donated directly to the National Lawyers Guild (NLG) Foundation.
Aaron needs a real defense and a fair chance in court. Any contribution, big or small, helps make that possible. Thank you for standing with him.
