We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of Elena Marie Thompson, a radiant soul who left us far too soon on March 12th, 2026.

Elena was a vibrant 34-year-old elementary school art teacher, devoted mother of two, and someone whose laughter could light up any room. She had an incredible gift for making people feel seen and loved. Whether she was painting with her students, coaching her daughter’s soccer team, or tending to her beloved garden, Elena poured her whole heart into everything she did.

Her adventurous spirit led her to travel whenever she could, and she was known for adopting every stray animal that crossed her path. Elena believed deeply in kindness, creativity, and community. She taught her children — and everyone around her — to be gentle with others and bold in their dreams.

This memorial fund was created to honor Elena’s life and legacy. The funds will support her children’s future education, help maintain the community art program she founded, and contribute to animal rescue efforts that were so close to her heart.
