Help Bring Lonnie Cage Home

Lonnie Cage is more than a name on a case file. He is a son, brother, cousin, friend, and loved one whose presence has been deeply missed by the people who love him.

Our family believes Lonnie was wrongfully convicted, and we refuse to stop fighting for the opportunity to prove his innocence.

After spending years incarcerated, Lonnie needs a post-conviction lawyer who can thoroughly review his case, examine the evidence, investigate potential issues, and pursue every legal avenue available to him.

Unfortunately, having the resources to obtain experienced post-conviction representation can be extremely difficult. That is why we are asking our family, friends, community, and anyone who believes in giving people a fair opportunity to fight for justice to stand with Lonnie.

The funds raised will go toward hiring a qualified post-conviction attorney and helping cover the necessary legal expenses involved in pursuing Lonnie’s case.

Our goal is to give Lonnie the legal representation and resources he needs to have his case properly reviewed and to continue fighting for his freedom.

Every year, every month, and every day Lonnie spends away from his family is time that can never be given back.

We miss having him with us. We miss his presence at family gatherings, his conversations, his laughter, and the everyday moments that families often take for granted. There is an empty space in our family that only Lonnie can fill.
