OASIS C2: May 2018

With each new change CMS undertakes, it becomes more difficult to manage all the intricacies of home health care. Episode reimbursement, quality measurement and the Home Health Star Ratings are derived from your OASIS data, making accurate OASIS assessment and documentation an essential skill set. This workshop explains the key points of OASIS guidance, including the latest OASIS manual guidance for OASIS- C2, the latest version of the CMS OASIS Q&A’s, and discusses assessment techniques to quickly and accurately gather information necessary to select the correct OASIS responses. There will be plenty of scenarios and documentation examples to clarify your questions on OASIS items, as well as OASIS best practices. OASIS-C2 brings further cross-settings standardization and changes the ways we answer key OASIS items, including pressure ulcers and medication regimen.
