On behalf of the National Society of Black Engineers, I would like to formally extend an invitation to you to join us at our 44th Annual Convention at The David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Pittsburgh, Pa. – Region II from March 21 – 25, 2018.

This year’s theme is the “#NSBE44: Ignite. Imagine. Innovate.“. Our focus is to provide our membership with an experience unlike any other. Inspiration and motivation are major points for us this year and we want to ensure that we are providing our attendees the ultimate membership experience, encouraging them to think outside of the box and come up with new and creative ways to go after their dreams. With our push for yearlong engagement, we want to ensure that you, the member, are up to date on all aspects of convention. We are excited for you to join us and Pittsburgh, PA is the perfect location for this convention.

Pittsburgh has been voted the most livable city by Forbes in the United States. It is home to some of the most prestigious institutions and is also renowned for its steel industry, medical fields, and robotic research.

The Convention Planning Committee is hard at work developing an experience that will change your lives. We hope that all members will take advantage of everything that the convention is going to offer. Whether it is participating in the various competitions, attending the different workshops, or listening to the inspirational speakers, our goal is to make sure you leave with motivated and inspired to achieve anything you put your mind to.
