Event Information

Spring Break Camp - Kooky Creatures and Their Towns
Join Joan of Green Art Labs and Therese of the Young Artist Program. Robots, monsters, fairies and other creatures may appear from our treasure boxes of colorful odds and ends. Create towns with boxes, fabric, jewelry and paint. Much of our camp will be guided by the interests of the group. But our starting point is to create creatures and towns. STEAM concepts: collaborating, creative thinking, problem solving, engineering, math, science and art. Theater, music and movement may emerge throughout the week. The possibilities are creatively endless.

Planned Possibilities:
9:00-10:00    Arrival and free play
10:00-11:30  Create Kooky Creatures and Their Towns with Green Art Labs and The Young Artist Program with materials such as reusable materials, paint, fabric, and jewelry. Possible theater, music, and movement.
11:30-1:00    Lunch and outdoor play at a nearby park - nature art
1:00-2:30     Continue/complete creative projects
2:30-3:00     Clean up and gallery showing of projects
