On March 26, 2025, My son was arrested for assault in the 2nd degree.  Chautauqua County Sheriff Deputy Colton Meabon, Badge number 2050 was responding to a domestic dispute called in by my son's neighbor who lives upstairs from him.  My son and his girlfriend were not home at the time of the phone call, but the neighbor showed deputy Meabon a audio tape claiming it was my son and his girlfriend.  My son, Daryll as well as his girlfriend Tabatha both told the officer that nothing was going on and that everything was fine.  Deputy Meabon then entered my son's apartment uninvited and refused to leave.  My son told him repeatedly to get out of his house.  When my son refused to answer any more questions, deputy Meabon then told him he was under arrest.  My son then said he didn't do anything and what was he under arrest for is when deputy Meabon then grabbed him and tried to slam his head into the door frame.  My son stopped his fall with his hands and was on his hands and knees on the floor, he was yelling stop, stop, stop.  Deputy Meabon put the handcuffs on so tight, you can see my sons hands swelling as he was begging deputy Meabon to loosen them.  My son was then put into the police vehicle with out a seat belt and brought to jail.  I have 2 videos of the incident that I will upload.  My son is the only one working in his household and cannot afford an attorney.  Please, if you can help with advice, prayers, share this page, or just donate to help pay for cost of legal fees it is much appreciated.  Thank you for taking the time to look at our story.
