Starting A Career in Tv and Film for Hair and Makeup

This one-of-a-kind intensive isn’t offered anywhere else! This workshop is
facilitated by industry pro makeup artist, Christelsie Johnson (makeup
department head for The Ms. Pat Show, Tyler Perry’s House of Payne,
Assisted Living, key artist – Kingdom Business) and special guest industry
pro hair stylist, Mario McDowell (key hairstylist for P-Valley and hair
department head for The Ms. Pat show).

This workshop includes an exclusive panel of top industry professionals,
including Tami Roman (actress, tv personality, producer), Mary Lou
Belli (3 time Emmy nominated director) and Nikki Simpson (producer, Tyler
Perry studios). Here from these top industry pros what is expected from
the hair and makeup teams that they hire and work with.

*Important Information:*

You must register as a makeup artist or a hairstylist, not both.

*Makeup Artists:*

- Bring your kit

- You can bring a model for the hands-on portion. Your model
will only be allowed in the workshop during the hands-on session. You will
be given a time for your model to arrive. If you don’t have a model you
will be paired with another student without a model.

- Sanitary practices are required during the hands-on session.

*Hairstylists:*

- Bring a wig. You can bring more than one to have options. It
is not necessary to purchase expensive wigs for this workshop.

- Bring a wig stand to use for styling.

- Bring styling tools

*This workshop is being held in Atlanta, Georgia. The private location
will be emailed the week of May 12th.*
