Reunion Schedule of Events

Friday, August 7

1 to 4 p.m.           Registration at Old High School on Oak Street

4:30 p.m.             Work on Float – Location will be announced at Registration. Any class members and spouses that would like to help are invited.  (CLASSMATE + FAMILY)

6:00 p.m.             Dinner and Mixer at X10 in Texas located at 119 Cypress Drive (directions will be available at registration) Meal will be included in your registration fee, alcoholic drinks will be on your own.

8:00 p.m.             Tail Gate Party out by the Dance – BYOB (CLASSMATE + SPOUSE/GUEST)

(We will have tents and chairs across from dance, exact location will be announced at registration. We are looking for anyone with RV’s to park by tents so we can have a place to make drinks, etc. We will provide some late night snacks. Saturday, August 8

9:00 a.m.             Ride on float (anyone interested in riding on float and representing the Class of ’85 is welcome. We will be participating with the Class of ’65. Location of where to meet to ride on float will be announced at registration.) If you’d like to ride on the float please email Lynette Blades Rickwartz at gregnlynnie@yahoo.com so we can get a head count. (CLASSMATE)

10:00 a.m.           Watch parade (for those not riding in parade you are urged to watch. Meet the class in front of the Old Mission Twins Movie Theatre now the Hillside Dalhart Church or on your own.) (CLASSMATE + FAMILY)

12:00 p.m.           Sandwich lunch at First Christian Church located at 602 Denver. Lunch will be combined with Class of ’65. (RSVP for luncheon only by emailing dedraas@gmail.com) (CLASSMATE + FAMILY)

2:00 p.m.             More tail gating out at same location as night before – BYOB

                                Everyone is welcome to participate in any XIT activities (for schedule go to http://xit-rodeo.com/) and come and go at tent as desired. We will once again have late night snacks and tent will be up through the night until the dance ends. (CLASSMATE + FAMILY)
