The Politic, Yale University's premier political magazine and online news source, operates entirely from donations and advertising revenue. Tracing its roots back to 1947, The Politic has a storied history, with former editors such as Fareed Zakaria, Robert Kagan, and Gideon Rose. We secure interviews with top politicians and authors—Barack Obama, Ron Paul, and Fareed Zakaria, to name a few. We also host on-campus events with guests such as Salman Rushdie and Malcolm Gladwell.
