Hello Everyone!

This upcoming October 19th , the brothers of Phi Kappa Psi will be hosting the 5th annual Steven Kovacs Walk Your Heart Out 5K. This event was first created in 2009 in response to the sudden tragic passing of our brother Steven Kovacs. Steve was an outstanding student at Binghamton University who loved to give back to the community. Now it’s our time to give back.
This event will be a color run, so dress appropriately! We will be supplying a limited amount of complimentary T-shirts and wristbands, so be sure to get there early.

We strongly encourage you to register in groups of 5 or 10, as the registration fee is $6/person for groups of 10+, $8/person for groups of 5+, and $10/person for individual participants. Prizes will be awarded for both the fastest individual times and fastest times per team. Have an uneven amount of runners? That’s fine; you’re top five participants scores will be used to total your score.

All proceeds for this event will be split between the Fairview Recovery Center, and the Binghamton University Institute for Child Development. There will also be food and awesome raffles during the event, which will be raffled off during the day of the event. We encourage you to come and support our cause and together we can make a difference.

- 12:00-1:00 pm- Day of Race Registration
- 1:15pm – Memorial Lap
- 1:45pm – Color Run (Intramural field behind East Gym and through nature preserve)

Parking will be available in the East Gym
Food and drinks will be available
Bring blankets, footballs, etc to relax on the field during the event

Please Note: PayItSquare adds a small processing fee (less than two dollars) to the registration fee.  Group and team rates are only available for in person signups.  For those wishing to avoid this processing fee or to register in groups, please pay in person or contact James O'Donnell, Nick Toner or any other brother of Phi Kappa Psi to arrange a payment pick-up or drop-off. ?
