Pennsylvania is an important swing state in national elections, but in 50 of our 67 counties voters are forced to use unverifiable paperless electronic voting machines. All of these machines are over 10 years old. They are nearing or past their expected useful life and many are wearing out. But for 85% of our voters there is no paper ballot and there is no way to meaningfully audit our elections, or recount our votes if something goes wrong.
Your tax-deductible contribution to the VotePA Education Fund will help VotePA expand our nonpartisan voter education and research work. We will use your support to educate voters and inform citizens how to watch Pennsylvania's aging voting machines, to study new voting systems that are coming to market, and to do everything we can to make sure that every vote in Pennsylvania gets cast and counted accurately.
