Who is this workshop for?

I constantly get questions as a professional photographer about how a take a certain shot, or what kind of equipment I use.  Well, here's you chance to learn from a pro.  This class is for everyone that has a camera that wants to know how to make it take the best picture possible every time.  I realize that there are ton's of internet resources and manual's you could read, but most people prefer to be in a LIVE learning situation with a REAL person who can spend the time to answer your questions.  This workshop will also be VERY small at about 20 people.

What will you learn?

You will learn the basics of camera control and exposure.  These are the building blocks needed to tackle any situation with your camera.  We will have hands on demonstrations of how each camera setting afffects our pictures.  If you are a visual learner, this is for you.  All demonstrated techniques will be projected on a screen at the front of the room.  Here's some questions I plan on discussing.

Why are my pictures blury?

How do I create a portrait with a blurred background?

Why is the color weird when I shoot indoors?

How do I take great sports shots?

How do I take a great portrait?

What you need to bring

Please bring your camera, and a desire to learn with an open mind.
